My Purpose

I have been a teacher for over 26 years. Throughout my career I have developed a passion for understanding how students learn. The need to understand how to facilitate learning as well as collaborating with colleagues has brought much joy to my life. Both have fueled my motivation to advance as a teacher and connect with my peers.

I love learning. For as long as I can remember I have felt a need to pursue some life questions. I learn through experiences and I learn through reading. Books have always been the vehicle through which I have expanded my world. Years ago, Oprah introduced me to Gary Zukav, author of Seat of the Soul. His book propelled my need to learn more about my life purpose, to understand the eternal question of why am I here?

Years, books and many conversations with like minded friends sent me on my new path of growing. My friend, soul sister and running partner urged me to press the submit button for an application to a Life Coach program. This program provided me with the pleasure to learn from author, radio host and coach, Alan Cohen who founded the Foundation for Holistic Life Coaching. Like teaching, Life Coaching fulfills my need to move forward, to learn and to grow. It allows both the client and coach to co-create an experience. The coach listens, questions and reflects in order to support the client tapping into the answers that are already inside them. Just like I learn every day from my students, a coach learns from each and every client.

Do you have questions that you want to answer? Questions like:

What does moving forward look like for me?

What is my life vision?

How can I let go?

What gets me really excited?

What do I need to change in order to succeed?

How can I get to the next level?

A life coach will begin with where you are in this present moment and help you tune into that voice inside that is whispering "You’ve got this! Let’s go!” I am excited to share my learning with you in hopes that we can co-create together in this amazing journey we call life!
